Coach a team

Overview

YOU can make a positive impact in the lives of girls in our community as a community coach. Each team of 8-20 girls is led by 2 or more volunteer coach-mentors who work together to lead their teams through 20 fun and interactive lessons.

During a thorough training course, volunteers gain access to the resources needed to lead a small group of 3rd-5th or 6th-8th grade girls in developing important life skills and healthy habits. Our staff will provide you with everything you need to make a real difference in the lives of girls in our community.

This fall, girls need caring and supportive adults like you to help them nurture their physical and emotional health, find strength in connectedness and build confidence and resiliency. The girls need YOU!

The Head Coach is a volunteer who works with a team of coaches to facilitate the Girls on the Run curriculum to program participants. This position entails approximately 4-5 hours per week for a 10-week commitment.
