Bowling for Buddies
This year, the YWCA of Alexandria-Pineville celebrated the 34th anniversary of its YW-Buddies Mentoring Program, which has matched—at no cost to participants—nearly 2,300 Central Louisiana children with volunteer mentors who provide homework assistance, shared interests, and encouragement. We kindly request your support of this vital program, so that new generations can benefit from greater student performance, improved self-esteem and interpersonal skills, and healthier lifestyle choices. The YWCA has seen, first-hand, these and other successes through YW-Buddies.
How can you help?
Bowling for Buddies is the only fundraiser the YWCA holds to support YW-Buddies, and sponsorships are what drive this program’s sustainability. It is a fun event for individuals, families, and organizations seeking a team-building opportunity for a worthy cause. Sponsorship opportunities are listed below. Date will be announced in early 2024
